Gravity Will Get You Every Time

Atticus has recently been having a rough time going to bed at night. Most nights have consisted of lots of whining that culminated in one of us cuddling him down to sleep. Therefore, tonight when we could hear him pattering around upstairs but not fussing, we decided to let him do it. The bathroom and office doors were locked and he wasn't waking up Norah, so we decided there wasn't much damage to be done. After about half an hour though, I decided to go check on him. What I found was my completely naked child who had managed to open our bedroom window three inches (we have safety latches that prevent them from opening any further) and was in the process of "cleaning" our bedroom by throwing everything that was on the floor out the second-story window into the bushes below. After much searching for a flashlight whose batteries the kids haven't worn out, Paul and I rifled through the bushes in the dark and retrieved the items featured in the picture above.

Boys will be boys, thanks for a good Friday laugh....safety latches are on and now guess you had better put the screens on so he/they cann't throw important stuff out on you. Have a great weekend.
